There are three principal buildings that make up the Northland Bible Chapel facility. All of these facilities are located in the beautiful area of Goulais River, Ontario, 15 minutes north of Sault Ste. Marie. The facility has excellent highway exposure and is located at the corner of TransCanada Highway 17 North and Provincial Highway 552. The views from the facility are beautiful, looking down across the Valley and over to Goulais Bay of Lake Superior, a very scenic but convenient location close to the big city. The Dormitory building includes 14 Large Guest Rooms, with each set of two rooms being connected by a shared bathroom.
The Kitchen, Dining Hall, and Recreation area are located in the basement level, and offices and other meeting space are located other places throughout the building. Heat for all buildings is provide by a large outdoor wood boiler. As long as one can cut and split wood, the heat for the building is very economical. Square footage of this building is over 7,500 square feet.
The building is structurally solid and well built. There is a wheel chair ramp that provides access to the basement level. The building has a newer roof, and with drop ceilings, plumbing could easily be adjusted to accommodate future renovation to multi-residential or some other use.
Chapel and Office Meeting Space
The Chapel space can seat in excess of 100 people, is constructed of log and stone, and was designed such that a second main floor and sloped roof could be added in the future. Presently the flat roof is in good condition. In this facility are also Sunday School rooms and some kitchen space. This space has been the principal meeting space for the Northland Bible Chapel group over the past years. Size of this building is about 60'x 60', making it approximately 3,600 square feet. It is spacious and also cozy in a real Northern Ontario way.
The Farm House has four bedrooms, and is quite an old building.
